Thanks for great NYC advice!
Thanks to all for some great advice for our NYC night on the town. This is what we did:
Stayed at Millenium Broadway (got it for $120 on Priceline). Great location for our purposes. Room was adequate and clean.
Saw RENT for the second time & LOVED it once again. We got 1/2 price tix using broadwaybox website.
Took the NJ Transit train from Hamilton, NJ - would have been cheaper to drive and park and the hotel!
Lunch: Marseille (great!)
Dinner: Osteria al Doge (very good)
Breakfast: Blue Point (very good)
On Saturday night (at the suggestion of someone here), we went to Don't Tell Mama - piano bar. It was GREAT!!!! We had a ton of fun Thanks so much (I think it was mclaurie) for that suggestion. We will definitely go back if we ever get overnight babysitting again
Thanks again for the great advice that can always be found here.

mclaurie - we brought our laptop with us & searched through various websites for brunch ideas within walking distance to the hotel. Blue Point was close to Don't Tell Mama - we walked by it to get there! The food was tasty & it came with a free drink It was also very inexpensive for NYC - I think $12 a person. I had brioce french toast & DH had a crepe. They had some seafood choices (lobster roll, egg with crab) as well. The place is small, but cute. There is a long bar & a handful of tables. The decor is blue/green tiles & lots of silver/chrome. Kind of a modern vibe. I liked Marseille better, but the food was good & service was excellent.
Thanks again!
