Super Shuttle?

I'm arriving in the city at LGA..need to get to my son's place in the East Village. Seems the agreement mostly is take a taxi..what about the Super Shuttle? It's hardly mentioned and their website says it's cheap and convenient..who knows?

I wold check out the site below as it gives you different options for getting into Manhattan from LaGuardia. The problem with SuperShuttle is that it may make a number of stops before dropping you off. I think that either a taxi or car service would be better. A taxi will be about $25 plus tip and tolls.

Super Shuttle usually says that there will be no more than 4 stops per trip - but I haven't used them in NYC. In places I have used them (Ontario, Phoenix), they are much more convenient and cheaper than a cab

I've used them in San Francisco and NY and there were only 1 or 2 other stops each time. They usually group you with people going to similar areas.

I used them from Newark to the city and from the city to JFK.
On the way to the city there was 3 customers in the car, I was the second to exit.
On the way to JFK there was 4 sets of people and it was full.
It was very convenient, $17, and fast...

I'll use it again.

I once used Supershuttle from Newark. Yes, it was 9PM, but I was the first in the van and we didn't leave the airport for another hour while the driver looked for other passengers at other terminals. This was a few years ago so perhaps the system has improved. I did use Supershuttle successfully with little delay at the other end of this same trip. From LGA I would take a cab--quick and easy.

Not worth the time and measly savings (only if you're alone will you save a few dollars). Take a taxi.
