St Augustine on a budget
Going to St Augustine next week with my mother and grown daughter. We love good shrimp and seafood and are looking for more casual dinning spots. We are staying in the old historic district and will have a rental car. Any suggestions on parking, entertainment or attractions on a budget? Also, are there any gardens or parks that are exceptional? We don't mind driving a bit for a beautiful natural area. Are there any natural springs or waterways where the manatees over winter?

If the key words are casual and inexpensive, this is what I'd suggest:
Good shrimp:
Barnacle Bills Downtown or Beachside

Osteens Restaurant
205 Anastasia Blvd
Saint Augustine, FL 32080-4504
904 829 6974

Parks:
Anastasia State Park http://www.floridastateparks.org/anastasia/
Fort Matanzas National Monument http://www.nps.gov/foma/index.htm
Castillo de San Marcos http://www.nps.gov/casa/index.htm
Other historic attractions:
Old St. Augustine Village
246 St. George Street
Saint Augustine, FL 32084
Tel: 904-823-9722

All of this is in addition to just strolling up and down St. George Street and around the plaza bordered by King St. and Cathedral Place, Cordova St. on the west and the Bridge of Lyons to the east.
