I have been worried about Speedbuggy also irecommend as a few weeks ago he posted his "ticker" (to use his words) was not doing well. I do hope he is alright..I wish some Fodorite knew how to contact him.
I wonder if Fodor's would send him an email if requested to do so.

He was posting a couple of weeks ago about leaving on a vacation to Wyoming in "a couple of weeks." I am wondering if the couple of weeks have passed, and hoping he is on his trip as opposed to being ill. Maybe we'll hear from him soon.

Yes, I just did a search and Speedbuggy posted on August 19th that he would be leaving in two weeks..which would have been this weekend. Another post of his was asking about internet access at Yellowstone.
I sure hope that he is on a beautiful trip versus having health problems.

Hi Scarlett, do you think we could get partime jobs, lol! I feel better also irecommend as I have wondered about Speedbuggy. I still cringe as the first time I posted to him I called him Speedbunny. He has a great sense of humor and is certainly a fine gentleman. The type of person I enjoy and respect. Thanks for starting this thread irecommend.

I also hope Speedbuggy has begun his adventure. He has been so very active on these boards, that I too missed seeing his posts. I thought he said that he will be in Grand Teton towards the later part of Sept. Hopefully he has been planning a long trip!
We are leaving tomorrow, beginning & ending in Salt Lake City. We are doing basicly the perimeter of the state of Wy. Going first east, then north to the Black Hills. from there back west and into Yellowstone & GT and then home.
We will be in Yellowstone at Mammoth on the 14 & 15, then a night in Cody, then Lake Yellowstone for 2 nights and Old Faithful on the 19 & 20. Them Gt for 3 nights. Hopefully, this will satisfy my need to see mother nature for awhile.
I will be looking for you BayouGal, and if you see someone in their mid fifties with long blond hair and glasses with my balding DH, feel free to say hi!!! Have a great and safe trip!

Oh, Link, I will be looking for you! I would LOVE to see you there!
I am tallish, mid-40s, shoulder length blond hair that may be in a ponytail/bun thing that my kids got me in the habit of doing while hiking, and my dh has jet black hair, fit, mid-50s but looks 30. LoL We'll probably both be wearing sunglasses.
We will be looking for you - what fun it would be to run into one another, huh?!
I quite frequently yell out "any Fodorites here?" in crowds, so if you hear that, you have found me! ;-)
Have a wonderful trip! And the chance of seeing you makes it all the more exciting!
cmcfong - I just yell out. You know how us southerners are. LoL

Since I couldn't get Betsy likker'd up enough at the last GTG to swipe her Original Fodor's Pin, I always travel with my Fodor's magnets clinging to the plate in my head so people will know I'm a proud member of the FFF.
