Silverthorne
Vacationing in Silverthorne CO later this month. Has anyone ever rented from Wildnest before? Any tips on what to do there. Thinking of white water rafting, zip lining. Any other idea would be great!
Thank you!

There won't be any whitewater rafting right there. There is outlet shopping. GREAT fly fishing right behind the outlet shops ( I know, how gauche--but it is true--BIG fish in the dam tailwaters) and good fishing up route 7 along the Blue River.
Frisco is not far. There are bike trails. Zip lining other places. Breckenridge isn't far. Lots to do.

Dam Brewery in Dillon (basically across the highway) has good food/beer and decent views if upstairs. See also Backwater brewing in Frisco. There was some kind of "adventure park" in Frisco last time we were there.
Breck has a nice indoor pool with slide and rec center.
There are rafting companies that advertise in that area, but try to figure out where they are taking you. I believe you'll be traveling a ways to actually go rafting. However, I seem to remember there may be rafting just west of Denver (if you are headed that way). Otherwise, probably an hour or two south or west.
There is good hiking, of all levels, in summit county. There is an easy hike, if memory serves, on the south side of Dillon lake, with nice views.
Avoid traveling to Denver on Sunday.
