Sanibel Island Beach Restaurant Ideas with Toddler

My wife and I are taking our 19 month old to Sanibel Island very shortly. Just looking for any restaurant recommendations that are family friendly and preferably looking out at the water. Something comparable to the Snook Inn (http://www.snookinn.com/) in Marco Island would be ideal. Thanks in advance!

The Bubble Room on Captiva has lots of flashy stuff, trains, etc. to keep his attention. Food is OK, desserts very boog

I'm not familiar with Marco, but we've been going to Sanibel for years, with and without children.

Sanibel has very few restaurants with water views -- Mad Hatter at Blind Pass is the best, but expensive and not a toddler-friendly place.

So many other options -- one good idea would be to stop at the Visitor Center right after you cross the causeway and ask there. Our grandchildren love Cheeburger, Cheeburger; Schnappers takeout; Lazy Flamingo up near Captiva; and the Lighthouse Cafe. Doc Fords is popular too. Over Easy is great for breakfast and lunch, no dinner. Takeout for picnics on the beach is a favorite, too!

HTH. Have a great trip to one of my favorite places.

The Mucky Duck on Captiva is a pub on the beach and very family friendly. RC Otter's, also on Captiva, would be another good choice.
