San Francisco Hotel

Has anyone stayed at The Inn at Union Square. Seems quaint and very good reviews on TripAdvisor. My husband and I will be in San Francisco early September and I'm not sure if we will need air conditioning or not. This hotel does have it. It also has breakfast and cocktails in the evening.

Don't know about that particular property, but a/c is not needed in SF--the afternoon breeze off the Bay or Ocean is nature's a/c.

I have seen the outside only. It is in a good location and AAA gives it three diamonds.

No, you will not need A/C.

Location is superb!

I wondered, what reviews are there on TA, and found this:

"That our window faced onto a brick wall was actually a plus in leaving it open with the curtains pulled aside all night."

And this must've been posted by a Brit:
"Super-strong shower with plenty of immediate hot water"

We were there last October and found it very charming. Walked everywhere. Helpful front desk folks recommended places to eat. Nice little breakfast in the am. Valet parking is expensive. Don't think you will have any problems.

Thank you for answering my question so quickly. I realized that this hotel does not have air conditioning but now I'm satisfied that I won't need it. I'll stick with this hotel. Thanks.
