Road trip from NJ to Vancouver

Traveling this summer from NJ to Vancouver, First stop is Frankmuth MI ( Largest Christmas store), then definitely mount Rushmore, Yellowstone national park, Salt Lake city.

If anyone know of any cool places to visit on my way, please share.

Thank you very much.

You'll be going right by Badlands National Park. Near Wind Cave and Jewel Cave. Grand Teton NP is just south of Yellowstone

You are probably too late to get lodging in Yellowstone, but because people make reservations a year in advance, they find they can't go as time goes by, so places open up. Get the phone number and call frequently for a cancellation.

Salt Lake City is quite a bit out of your way on the way from Chicago or Michigan to Vancouver BC Canada.
Maybe you could visit SLC and Denver on the way back.
You will want to go to Seattle either on the way or the way back. If you are traveling after about mid June, you should see Glacier NP on the way.
Are you driving your own car?

Check with your auto insurance agent about a rider that says you are insured in Canada.
July 1 is Canada Day which is almost as big a holiday as July 4 in the US.

Not sure about in CA but in NY - and I asume NJ - all car insurance covers you for Canada as well as the US.

Where else have you been on the west coast? You could take I-90 (with side trips) westbound and I-80 from San Francisco back, with the Oregon coast and the redwoods in between, like this: https://goo.gl/maps/5ZFj7LfWUuE2

From Frankenmuth go north to the UP and take the northern route to Vancouver (Glacier National Park, the Canadian national parks in the Rockies--you'll have to make a choice) and come back via SLC, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, etc.
