Questions about going to New Mexico.

Will I need a visa?

Should I get currency now, or use ATM?

Will my cell phone work, or do I need a SIM card?

I am going in October – will Sandia open by then?

Will I be OK speaking English only?

What to wear on the plane?

Do I need a pin code for my credit card?

What’s the fastest and cheapest way to get to my hotel room?

Do you have slut machines in the casinos?

How can I see Albuquerque in one day?

I take it this is a "funny" post, but there use to be maps printed without New Mexico on them. Arizona hit Texas and NO New Mexico!

I guess I forgot to ask:

Is it safe there?

Where do I go through customs coming back?

LOL

If you want to visit White Sands it's pretty easy to get there.

Keep going east right into Hell and make a quick left, right before you hit the center.

This is from another forum, the answers are hilarious:

Will I need a visa?
Yes, not only that you need to bribe the officer also.

Should I get currency now, or use ATM?
No ATM's, it's good to bring cheap jewelry and trade with the locals.

Will my cell phone work, or do I need a SIM card?
Cell phones? Are you kidding?

I am going in October – will Sandia open by then?
All bars are open during the Festival

Will I be OK speaking English only?
Of course, but nobody will understand you.

What to wear on the plane?
Thongs will be great and sufficient. And I don't mean flip flops.

Do I need a pin code for my credit card?
What credit card? And what's a PIN?

What’s the fastest and cheapest way to get to my hotel room?
An escorted army truck will bring you to your hotel if there is one.

How can I see Albuquerque in one day?
10 minutes will be great.

Is it safe there?
Tijuana will be a lot safer.

Where do I go through customs coming back?
Not a chance you ever will get back....

We got back - who knew

We didn't need visas, and the currency question was solved easily: New Mexico = New Peso

Seriously, I will post my report when done with the photos - hopefully by Friday. We had such great time!
