Problems with flight check in advice needed
My husband and I are flying from La Guardia to Orange County tomorrow morning via South West airlines which is a code share with ATA. I managed to check my husband's flight right through using the South West airlines which had a link to the ATA check-in. However when I tried to check in online for my flight the South West airline flight works okay but when I check on the link to ATA it says I have to check in at the airport. I have been referred back and forth from SW ailines and ATA call centers and nothing has been resolved. Am I safe just waiting until I get to La Guarda to check in. Why did my husband's work and mine didn't?

The flight is on an ATA plane, not SW. I'm not sure why you should be concerned about going to the airport to checkin. Online checkin is a convenience, not a requirement.
If you show up at the airport I'm sure they will be able to accommodate you.

I have had this happen twice in the past few years from two different airlines -
Once I could check in 4 of the 5 of us flying -
the other time I could check in me but not my husband -
I was told by those airlines that people were chosen randomly that had to check in , in person, at the airport, as part of random security checks -

sorry,I hit post by accident -
There was no problem checking in - it was just a pain that one of us had to do all that and the other travelers in the same party did not have to wait in the lines -
on one of those times, my husband had to wait in a line for almost 40 minutes to personally check in while I sat there reading the paper and enjoying my coffee -
