Oahu in August

Planning a trip back to Hawaii in August. I image it's tourist season, but how's the weather at that time of year?

Also, thinking of staying at the Kahala reort. Anyone have experince with that hotel?

In August it's HOT and humid, but you do have the tradewinds and that beautiful ocean to cool you off.

Can't help with the Kahala - never been there, but it is quite aways out - which is great if that's what you're looking for ...

Haven't stayed there, but Kahala Resort & Hotel is nice.

It is only a couple miles from Waikiki.

Lots of Oahu info:

August is still tourist season. Hot is relative- can get to 90. Humid, yes. You would want air conditioning, but it is far nicer than August in New Orleans or Florida, for my money.

The Kahala is a nice resort and outside of Waikiki. Nice restaurants, nice location.

Weather is hot & humid in August.
