Nov 23rd - 27th - Are the Christmas Decorations Up?

Hi,

We're thinking of having a trip from 23rd - 27th November but want to go when all the decorattions are up and it looks all Christmassy. Can you tell me when they go up?

Thanks

Lisa

Typically right after Thanksgiving is when all the Christmas stuff goes up, although some places start earlier. I have seen a few pharmacies that werw selling christmas decorations right after Labor Day!! I would check with the places themselves and find out if you are looking for something in particular (such as the Macy's display or the Rockefeller Tree which is not done until early-mid December)

There are decorations up now on Park Avenue. You will see lots of them go up soon, but ALL of them will be up the day after turkey day.
