Murder by the pool in Palm Beach

Good morning - we're one week into our Florida road trip and you can check the progress of the two Brits here at http://apacheterritory.blogspot.co.uk/. Thanks for taking a look - regards Rich and Sue.

I do, too! FYI, rickydicky, take a peek at zillow.com if you want to know what (approximately) that modest slice of real estate paradise might cost. Or don't, and keep the dream alive

So weird. I was sitting in the dentist chair this morning and he told me he was going to get his Mother tomorrow in Jensen Beach. I'd never heard of it!

When you look at Zillow be sure to remember that a lot of those listings are terribly out of date and that what you see is the asking price which can be even more out of date than the listing itself.

Rich:

Hello - enjoying your Florida road trip.

I loved the film "The Bridges of Madison County" and the story line. The film was made and set in Madison County, Iowa not Florida.

Keep posting. Fun to read.

Sandy

Dukey's quite right, of course. I think Zillow is mostly just for fun--it gives one a very rough idea of how high the cotton in the neighborhood is.

Sandy - yes a great film. And thanks for the correction re. Madison County. Thinking back, it didn't look a lot like Florida! As for Zillow - I did take a look but I ain't buying! Thanks everyone.
