Hi. Think I will pay for airfare and fly into Jackson. Am thinking we will stay first 2 nights at either Signal Mountain upper lakefront or rent a condo in Teton Village. As much as Signal Mtn appeals to me, I know my kids will be without tv/wifi for the next 5 nights (oh the horror!) and am thinking the creature comforts of Teton Village might appeal more to them. Thoughts?

Snow lodge is in the main building. Like a hotel. Cabin is a single or duplex freestanding unit. I'm not exactly sure how the snow lodge is set up.

I wouldn't be concerned about having wifi. Frankly, that would be a good thing for them not to have it, IMOP

Signal Moutain Lodge is a place to be while in Grand Teton with a family.
Nice lake front, large , incredible view.
Wifi in lobby when we were there 6 years ago, but as Spiro said, why WIFI when in Yellowstone or Grand Teton ??
We were with our teenager's daughter(15 y old at that time) and after 2 days, she didn't even think about that...
She used her PC only at airport, waiting for our back flight...
The cabin in Old snow are also large and quiet.
Sleeping in Park add such a feeling at the vacation that I don't imagine and I've never seen kids not satisfied.
The important is to organise your days with some "plan B" , depending on the weather...
While in Grand Teton, Jackson hole can be a destination for a rainy day.
In Yellowstone, weather can be rainy in one part and sunny elsewhere : one year we were in Old Snow and terrible weather, and so drive to Lamar and it was sunny and hot...
If really weather is so bad in the whole park, West Yellowstone and Cody are nice destinations for such days.
A ranger's programm can be fine for your kids.
Some small and easy hikes also(Imperial Geyser, Lone Star,Lower brink of the falls...).

All, thanks for replies. Just found this house in Driggs that looks amazing. We would do 4 nights in YNP (snow lodge western cabins and canyone western canyons) and then thought this house would be great to end trip for 4 nights to do GTNP and some rafting, horseback riding and hiking. I dont sleep very well so would love to come back from vacation rested (assume I will sleep better here that in Signal) and love the views, hot tub and visiting another state!
It is in Drigg, Idaho. What do you think?http://www.vrbo.com/112834

It´s 1h drive from Driggs to Gd Teton.
Forbus it´s too long : 2 hours every day out and back and we prefferr sleeping in park.
Now it´s as everyone preffers.
We had no problem to sleep in Signal Moutain lodge and morning´s and evening´s views at sunrise and sunset are a must.
I think horsebac and raft could be organise near.
