Mariner's game
We will be in Seattle for 3 nights the first week in July and I was thinking of seeing a Mariner's game in the evening. Do I need to order tickets ahead of time (I'm not real picky about seats) or can we expect to get tickets on a walk-in basis?
We will be staying at the Comfort Suites near Seattle Center. I'll have a car. What's the best route/place to park?
Thanks

You can order ticket via the Ticketmaster link at www.mariners.org. Most games sell out, so your choices are either to prebook, or arrive really early for walk-up seats. There are always scalpers around, too, despite the best efforts of the authorities (illegal near the park.) There is plentiful street and garage parking near Safeco, from $15-$25, or you can ride the bus. Bus access back to Seattle Center after night games is a pain to navigate, but doable. Many people park in the Pioneer Square or International District areas (prices $10 or less) and walk the half mile to the stadium.

I would buy tickets in advance through ticketmaster just to be safe. There is a game on the 4th of July if you are in town that day.
As John said there is lots of parking, it's just expensive so be prepared.
Safeco Field is so beautiful! You will have a ball (no pun intended! haha!)

If you buy tickets off the Mariner's website you can actually PRINT your tickets right on your printer at work or home, and take those with you. Don't have to go to will call, or wait for the mail. VERY convenient!! (They're one of the couple of MLB teams who do this.)
