We are taking a trip to Vegas in mid-January. We are two twenty-somethings? Are there any nice hotels on the strip with INDOOR pools?

There are no indoor pools at any of the major hotels in Vegas. Most hotels close their pools for the winter, although we were there over Christmas, and saw people in the pool at the Luxor ( it was 60 degrees during the day, plesant, but NOT swimming weather for sure) As an alternative, many of the larger casinos have nice spas with Whirlpools, wet and dry saunas, lounge areas, and gyms that you can use. Unlike many other resort hotels, all of the ones in Vegas charge a fee - about $15 - $25 per day. One way to avoid the fee is to sign-up for a spa service - massage, facial, herbal wrap, etc, and you get to use the spa/gym for free for the whole day of your massage.

*Venetian ( run by Canyon Ranch )
*Mandalay Bay
*Ceasars Palace
*Luxor (The only spa that open 24 hrs - great way to maximize you spa fee)
*Ballys
*Paris

I guess Anthony does not consider the Tropicana to be one of the major hotels.

Bally's used to have an indoor pool; perhaps they converted it to another use......hmmm

Having stayed at Ballys many many times, i can tell you that they do not have an indoor pool. Maybe they converted it for use in the spa.

If you want to go swimming in January go to Hawaii, not Vegas. Sure it is warmer in Vegas this time of year than most of the rest of the county but get your head out of your ass and think. I work in major hotel on the strip and I just can't believe how many people expect to go swimming and get a tan in January. Go to Hawaii and go swimming, use your brain people.
