How is the weather in Orlando in November/December?

You'll probably not have a problem in November, particularly since your pool will be heated. December can be changeable as tchoiniere implies.
It will probably be a bit too cool for Floridians, but if you're coming from a colder climate, you won't be as fussy as us.

I don't go in our pool until June (we're a little farther south and on the coast), but my DH and 15 year old went in an outdoor heated pool in Montreal in March - guess it depends on your point of view and hardiness!

The Portofino is great and their pool is wonderful. If you're going with kids they will love the dive in movie. If you are coming from up north the water should be fine since it will be heated. If you are from FL. you'll freeze when you come out of the pool.
