HELP! Minivan rental in January - Orlando :-)

I need some help please. Our family needs to rent a minivan for 17 days in January and all I am coming up with is $1100 - $1200. I have tried many codes and nothing seems to be working?? Anyone have any suggestions?

I just keyed some dates into Avis using D005620 rate code, for pickup and return to MCO, and it's US$669.95 plus taxes for 17 days from January 12 (just plucked a date out of thin air). I also checked hotwire and it was $40.95 per day, that would suggest priceline may be cheaper than that.

try mousesavers.com Had excellent advice about orlando rentals with many code options available. I got minivan for $199/week through dollar for this November. Recommend use rental company that has in-terminal cars(mousesavers lists these as well.

Okay .. found a good buy!! Renting from Jan 2-16 it is going to be @226.66/wk I found it on travelocity and although we are flying in on the 31st .. it is much cheaper to take a van from the airport for $55 and then take a shuttle/taxi to the nearest Alamo rental place which is about 4 miles away from our resort. I called to switch the pickup location from the airport to the nearest place to us in Lake Buena Vista and I saved an additonal $45 of taxes. YIPPEE. Went from $568 to $520 and change

try hotwire.com & Priceline. We were able to get a minivan last Sept for approx. $46/day through hotwire.
