Ft. Myers area Entertainment Book

Can anyone tell us where we might purchase an Entertainment book in the Ft. Myers area? We will be visiting Sanibel next week and don't have time to order one through the mail.

Is there a particular reason you want one? We live in the area and were given one as a gift. A year later we had not redeemed a single coupon. There was not one restaruant in it we would want to go to -- actually there was one new one which we had heard was really good. We clipped the coupon got there and discovered that they no longer accepted the coupons. They were doing good business so dropped them. The only places that seemed to offer anything were places that were desperate for business -- and for good reason. The hotel coupons are only good at hotels if you notify them of its use at time of booking -- and then they usually tell you that rooms at the price covered are not available. I thought the whole thing was a farce! Maybe they are good in other areas, but not Southwest Florida. If you don't care where you go or where you eat, you might find them a bargain, however, don't expect to get any good deals. Also many of the places that offer discounts will have even better coupons in the newspapers for 2 for 1 meals, etc. As I said they are the businesses desperate for business.

Hi,
Saw your reply about Ft. Myers. I take off for there in two days and am staying on Estero Island. Would love some recommendations on restaurants and anything else going on in the next 3 weeks. Thanks,
Jane

I agree with Patrick... In other areas we have found the Ent book to be a terrific deal; in the Naples/FM area, the only thing the book is good for are car washes... none of the good restaurants are in it...

Check out www.sunnydayguides.com. Their booklet only cost $2.00 and they have advertised on their website several of the restaurants others recommend. Also links to some of the restaurants and their menus. I have used the Sunny Day Guides in Branson booklet several times especially for the outlet malls.
