Driving from Kansas City to Santa Fe, NM??
We're planning a "roadie" next month...which on the last leg will take us from Kansas City, MO...back home to Santa Fe. We'll be in an SUV, with a 9-yar old and a 5-year old.
According to GoogleMaps, the best way to go is to take I-35...to Hwy 54...to I-40...and then up Hwy 41 back to SFE.
This may be the fastest way...but is it the best way (i.e. is it too boring?) I'm guessing there's a whole lot of nothing west of KCMO. What about dropping down I-35 to I-40, which takes us through Tulsa & Amarillo?
Or what about taking I-70 west from KCMO...to Denver...then down I-25?
Any feedback will be MOST helpful!.
