My husband is staying at the westin crown center or something like that and would like a nearby restaurant which serves bbq. He will be alone and it is already kinda late. Any suggestions????

There is a bbq restaurant within walking distance of crown center. It's fiorella's jack stack. Be sure to get the baked beans and cheesy corn!

Second Jack Stack's; it's great! Add burnt ends to those sides.

A second opinion.

Not everyone is that impressed with Jack Stack. I think the ones that perfer it, don't do BBQ as often.

I find Jack Stack overpriced and the service spotty. Also someone looking for the KC BBQ experience may find it a bit too upscale.

Other BBQ near (but not as close) to Crown Center include Rosedale BBQ, Winslow's Smoke House, Arthur Bryant's, and KC Masterpiece.

For someone looking for something more representative (and less expensive) I would suggest Rosedale or Bryant's.

If your husband will not have his own transportation, the trolly from Crown Center will take him to the Plaza (where he can visit KC Masterpiece) or the City Market (Winslow's).

Gee, if "dear hubby" was already hungry when solg posted that request some 10 hours ago, he must be starved by now! So where did he go and did he like it?
