Coming to Denver for SanDiego-Denver game
I have researched as much as I could for restaurants. My group of friends depend on me for suggestions and I hope you will help me. Staying downtown just want good food and lots of fun. Can go from hole in the wall to nice steak house. Italian, Steaks, Pizza and good hamburgers??? Thank you.

Just head down the 16th Street Mall, where there are tons of restaurants to choose from. Larimer Square/Lawrence st. ("Lodo")are within walking distance and also good places to find food and bevs. Have a great time! (I'm lucky enough to be going to the Broncos-Chargers game in San Diego in Dec!)

Hey sylvia3..
When you are in town for the Bronco/Charger game, there is a classic place down the street from the Q that alot of football players go to that is one of the best burgers in town..its called the Longhorn Cafe in the Vons shopping center on Mission Gorge/Friars..about a mile from the stadium if you are not going to tail-gate..

Denver, particularly Lower Downtown (LoDo), has a lot of great restaurants, close to the 16th St. Mall, so you can hop a free shuttle bus if you're staying more than a few blocks away. My faves are:
Denver Chop House (20th & Wynkoop) - great steaks and sides, lively atmosphere, in casually upscale surroundings. Lots of pro athlete sightings here.
Wynkoop Brewery (18th & Wynkoop) - first brewpub in Denver, founded and still owned by the current Mayor, John Hickenlooper! Excellent beer and entrees - try the elk burger.
Wazee Supper Club (15th & Blake) - totally retro bar/restaurant from way back with what I think is some of the best pizza in town.
My Brother's Bar (15th & Platte) - another vintage watering hole, frequented by Jack Kerouac back in the day. Bar food with great burgers, particularly their signature Jalapeno Cream Cheese Burger. If Jimmy is behind the bar, he'll insult you for free!
These are just a few of the ones that popped into my head - lots more besides these! Have a great game, although I'm afraid the Chargers will take a beating...
