Christmas in New Orleans with Pets

Jump to last reply

I will be going to New Orleans solo and bringing my two mini poodles along. I'm driving from MO on Christmas Eve and will stay until Friday. I am staying at the Drury. I have no real "plan" other than to spend tine walking around and seeing the sights. My girls (dogs) love to walk, so I want to get them out as much as possible. I understand the Drury is a bit of a hike from the French Quarter. Can anyone tell me if I can bring them on a trolley? Will I have any problems walking around with them during the day? Any places particularly pet friendly? I picture walking, window shopping, grabbing coffees, etc.

I would like to have a nice Christmas dinner. Perhaps, a reveillon dinner? Suggestion of where to go? Can I join a group or do I dine along?

Also, I've heard about a cajun tour? Anyone heard of this?

Thanks,

MizzEve
