choose a lodge in Vail village vs Lionshead
We will go to Vail for 3-4 days at the beginning of July. Right now, there are two lodges i'm interested, which are mountain Haus in Vail Village and Antlers in Lionheads. I'm not sure if we should stay in Vail village or Lionheads since I have never been to Vail. Any suggestions? Thanks!

While I would defer to Vail locals, I would assume that the construction in Lionshead is gereater than the construction in the village at this point. For that reason and because the village is still the main hub of the town, I would stay in the village. Mountain Haus is a nice property.

Many thanks to everyone! Your input are very helpful! I appreciate it. I just booked a room at Mountain Haus. However, i was told that all the rooms facing the slopes were already sold out. My room will be facing the valley. Anyway, i really look forward to my CO trip in July!
