This advice comes second-hand, as I've never taken one of these but know people who have: don't.
HHH seems to have hit the nail on the head -- you're herded around and hustled for drinks. I've never heard anyone say they'd do it again. Obviously, one poster here disagrees, but I'm just giving you what I've heard.

Did Seascape from Ft lauderdale a few years ago -- it was AWFUL! We could not wait to get back in! It really was a cattle car, the ship was dirty, small, in need of repairs and a facelift. Crew was surly, food was gross. Don't believe the brochures or be fooled by the "great" prices sometimes advertised in local FL papers.

I've never gone, but my husband and brother-in-law went once. They both said it was just okay as far as the gambling goes. Food was NOT good and it was VERY SMOKY. Neither seemed too thrilled about going again. If you want to gamble, go to one of the Indian Casinos. At least that way you can get up and leave once you run out of money!

I got stuck on one of these in the Tampa area a few years ago. I would never do it again. I enjoyed seeing the gulf scenery for about 20 minutes and that was it. I couldn't wait to get off and have since thought I would never enjoy a cruise because of this experience.
