We recently biked from the Orleans area on the bike trail. We went to the National Seashore at Eastham. You have to exit the trail at Locust St and cross over route 6 to the Salt Pond Visitor Center. We stopped at the visitor center, watched an interesting movie on how the cape was formed and then continued on trails inside the national seashore for about one mile to Coast Guard Beach. We brought a sheet and was able to sit and enjoy the beautiful beach with lots of surf. They had outdoor showers and a changing room if you wanted to swim.
Enjoy your time on the cape.

You should look at the trail map. It's all scenic, some places more than others. In Brewster you can detour and ride in Nickerson State Park. In Eastham you can ride up to the beach, as noted above. In Wellfleet you can explore the Marconi Beach telegraph site, and at the end of the trail at LeCount Hollow Rd. in Wellfleet you can take a right and ride to Ocean Drive and see the beaches and views.

Thanks for all of your help. We had a wonderful time, biked 4/5 days and it was all good. Plan to go again next year and will go on some of the trails you mentioned that we did not bike.
