Broiled Chicken and Sour Milk Biscuits in Delaware?
We'll be in Delaware this July. We would love to try the Broiled Chicken and Sour Milk Biscuits. Do you know what restaurant in Delaware offers them? Thank you.

Did you get this notion using Google by any chance? I actually lived in that state for a while but apparently totally missed the supposed "favorite" sour milk biscuits.
The chicken will be available everywhere and in every conceivable preparation way. If you head toward the beach, especially on summer weekends don't be surprised to see more than one of those country churches and local fraternal organization outdoor barbecues raising money with grilled chicken.

I've spent a fair amount of time in DE, but have never heard or seen of such a specialty. I guess I missed something.
Chicken is sort of the state dish -- Perdue is a big employer. But I've never heard of anyone seeking it out.

Dukey, Remember that huge frying pan they would cook chicken in? Lower Delaware has the broiled chicken, pull over for the Lion's Club or some other animal club, they do them everywhere on the weekends. Huge big grills over coals. I have never heard of sour milk biscuits. I suppose that could be buttermilk since that is sour to me.

stop here if you are in the area on their market day.

Turns out it's the "iconic dish" for Delaware -

According to someone.
I agree that sour milk biscuits would be buttermilk biscuits

We always had firehouse dinners to raise money or bake sales where they sold chicken and dumplins by the quart jar, Chicken salad was so good and then the famous all you can eat crab dinners, hot and spicy with old bay seasoning so you'd drink more beer. I am missing the eastern shore.

Unfortunately we could not make it to any weekend event since our itinerary would only allow us to stay in Delaware on weekdays. We decided to go to Bethany Blues BBQ Pit in Bethany Beach. There was an hour wait, which turned out to be hour and a half. This was on a rainy Wednesday evening. I ordered the Delmarva Chicken, it was tender and very flavorful. It was a great decision.
Thank you for your suggestions.
