Bridesmaids' Luncheon in Alexandria or DC??

My DD is getting married at Mt Vernon. I would love to host the bridesmaids' luncheon at an equally unique place. Any suggestions for restaurants or other venues??

Possibly the Tabard Inn? It's in a part of DC that's difficult to park in, so guests would probably want to arrive by taxi.

1789 has some lovely private rooms and it would keep in the theme of Mt Vernon. My daughter had a tea at the 4 Seasons in Georgetown and it was lovely.

I was going to suggest Tabard Inn as well. There are nearby gargages and easy street parking (1-2 blocks away) on weekends. VERY good food/wine/service/ambience.
