afternoon in Williamsburg, VA
Hi-
My husband and I have an Friday afternoon to tour Williamsburg.
We will probably get a bite to eat and catch some of the must see sights.
What are some of the must-see places to visit?

here is the official website:

You just walk around and go in the buildings you want to go in.

Well for us, the "must eat here" restaurant is the Blue Talon Bistro!

Start at the Visitor's Center and purchase a day ticket.
Take 40 minutes to watch the short film, "Story of a Patriot."
It'll set the mood for your visit to the historic area -- it's worth the time & effort to see.
After watching the film, head to the capitol and tour it. Then walk up Duke of Gloucester Street, stopping at the places that interest you.
Leave time to visit the Governor's mansion.
The capitol and mansion are definite "must sees."
Merchant's Square (shopping & food) is at the opposite end of Duke of Gloucester from the capitol.
Enjoy!
