Here is a restaurant finder:

and a cheap eats guide

I think that area is considered Woodley Park, so you might want to look under that section.

There is a good Irish restaurant and bar, Murphy's, right by the Omni Shoreham. Good value.

Open City on Clavert St. in Woodley Park is VERY good for bfast or lunch. Good value.

Here is a listing and menus and reviews for restaurants close to the Omni Shoreham.

Definitely Woodley Park, a ten+ minute walk to the center of Adams Morgan at 18th and Columbia Rd. You'll see leads of small non-chain restos on Conn Ave near the Woodley Metro station.

There are plenty of places near the Omni that won't require a trek into Adams Morgam. If you decide to walk there, the focus should be on ethnic. Great Ethiopian and Latin/Central American.

We stayed at the Omni in April and one of our favorites was Open City, which was just kitty corner from the hotel. We also loved Tono Sushi. Both were very reasonably priced and had great food.
