Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch
When I tried to make a reservation to tour Abiquiu on April 19, 20, or 21, I found this: "Tours will not be conducted the week of April 17 to 23 due to special religious activities in Abiquiu."
Is there any reason to go to Abiquiu or Ghost Ranch if we can't take the tour?

Darn. I was going to offer you my unused tour reservation
(it's good for a year)
I don't know the answer to your question. I wanted to go but (as I understand it) there is no access near the house outside of a tour

I'd have to say no, especially if you're not planning to see Bandelier (including Tsanwaki) and/or Puye Cliffs. We took a drive to Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch from Santa Fe last fall, and ended up disappointed. The scenery is nice, sure, but not that much different from what we'd already seen.

That's what I planned to do too. I'd probably drive on "just to see" even without tour tickets because I'd just like to see/ be in the area Georgia O'Keefe loved so much. But then again, I'm a bit weird about things like that.
