What's your favourite beauty/grooming tip when travelling?

I like double duty products and use brown mascara as eye shadow and eyeliner and lip gloss for lipstick/blush but my fav tip was given to me by a girl I met when travelling in England who used hair conditioner as a body wash (best when brushed on with a small brush) and also as facial moisteriser. It really works and is amazing for softening dry skin. I find nothing better as a hand cream and really helps those painful and annoying hang nails. I think it has even softened my wrinkles as well ! I find the tubes that come with permanent hair colour are the best for the face as they are very good quality but any cheap hair conditioner makes a good shower wash though you still need soap for the 'dirtier ' areas. It also keeps you skin softer for much longer than anything else which is a plus in the drying plane environment.

Any other tips for looking good when on the move? I particularly need tips for controlling limp, oily, flyaway hair!
