Scottevest or jacket for November travel to Italy

Jump to last reply

Looking at the Scottevest website and see both vests and jackets. I haven't used these before but they look helpful (traveling solo, lots of flights and train rides).

Any suggestions for vest plus light jacket/short trench coat or Scottevest jacket?

Tentatively planning Ravenna and Milan travel for a workshop -- won't be dressing up a lot but want to look acceptably put together and be weather-appropriate. Otherwise planning to wear dark jeans or black pants and boots, bring good black walking shoes, travel umbrella, etc. etc. I travel with carry on and bring a spare folded up back in case I bring stuff back.

Tips, experiences, advice welcome!
