trying to find the right hotels, Hamadryade Lodge, Galapagos Safari?...

Hello everybody,

i'm preparing a trip to Ecuador/Galapagos and I made a first selection of hotels and Lodges that I liked... on their website and tripadvisor
maybe someone could help me with proper insight :

Quito : la Mansion del Angel or Le Parc
Termas de Papallacta
Hamadryade Lodge
Samari Spa in Banos
San Angustin de Callo
back to Quito and then to the Galapagos Safari Camp on Santa Cruz

the two I really would like to do, especially because it's my honeymoon are Hamadryade Lodge (www.hamadryade-lodge.com) because everybody seem to love the place. luxurious with great activities such as rafting primary rainforest jungle tours and such.
and Galapagos Safari Camp (www.galapagossafaricamp.com) which seems to follow the same concept, combining luxury and adventure.

now all this seem perfect, but I would feel more comfortable if someone could confirm that

thank you very much, all advices are appreciated

Was there last fall for an upscale trip

Dennis and Eva www.galapagosexpeditions.com

got me GREAT discounts on my journey.

www.nuhousehotels.com Quito

www.haciendapinsaqui.com Otavalo

www.bellavistacloudforest.com

www.hosteriamandala.info

www.huaorani.com best deep amazon experience if time

Eric/Flamingo/Lety Galapagos Deluxe Cruise best

Red Mangrove for best Galapagos hotel.

Stick with QUALITY locals for best info/prices

Careful many Galapgos scammers on the boards particularly

TripAdvisor where for profit foreign expat agents/owners

posing as "Destination Experts" are allowed by mods to rip off

clueless newbies make them pay 3-5X more than real costs.

So be very careful with foreign expat scammers ..

www.insuremytrip.com always wise

I had a WONDERFUL time best most ecodense country in the world

Congrats!

HI.Congrats on your upcoming honeymoon.
I have not stayed in the mainland hotels, but I can vouch that Galapagos Safari Camp is wonderful, and just as you described: luxury and adventure. The tents are gorgeous with amazing views, and you really feel like you are "off the beaten path". Good luck with your choices!

The Galapagos Safari Camp is very nice and accommodating. It's located about 30 minutes outside of the main town in Santa Cruz.

Congratulations.
