Public Transportaton From Buenos Aires (EZE) Airport

Hello,

I am staying in an apartment in San Telmo next week and would like to take a public bus from the airport to that neighborhood.

Has anyone used a bus rather than a taxi? I like to figure out public transportation and find that taxis from any airport are usually a ripoff.

Thanks!

Taxis are cheap in Buenos Aires. Why bother with a bus?

I think the price for a taxi from the EZE airport is in the range of 100 AR pesos (maybe more by now), which is not that cheap, although taxis within the city are pretty cheap.

Manuel Tienda Leon is what I would use to go from the airport, to save money. If you want to take the bus, then you need coins, and coins, at least when I was there, were ridiculously difficult to get. I think there is a prepaid card now for the buses (introduced after I left), but I'm not sure if you can arrange that at the airport.

i think it is probably absolutely not worth it to take public transportion, you can settle for the Tienda Leon bus, if you are only one pax if not take a taxi. With all due respect somethings are not worth it.
