It looks like there will be Vesak Day around May 23 - May 27 according to this website holidays-calendar.pro. I am worried that there will be too many people in Bali, can anyone tell me some information?

Hi,
The dates you mentioned are indeed a long weekend. The Vesak falls on the 23rd, but as someone who lives in Bali, I don't think it will be as busy as you think. The chances are that it will be busy at the beach in the afternoon with locals, but traffic-wise, the traffic in Bali is already bad, with or without a long weekend. There are too many people in Bali only on two occasions: the end of the year and during the Ied holiday (which already passed). Outside those two occasions, you will be fine. Hope it helps!

Vesak Day, an important Buddhist holiday celebrated in Indonesia, occurs on May 23 and May 27. Popular tourist spots like Bali, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and other areas of Indonesia may become very crowded around this time of year. Vesak Day in Bali, in particular, could attract even more tourists because of its cultural importance and the beautiful festivities performed at Buddhist temples. It could be a great time to visit if you don't mind crowds and wish to participate in the colorful festivities. However, you could consider planning your trip for a different date. Also, you could look into less famous locations in Indonesia that may not be similarly affected by the holiday traffic.
