Private Tour Guide in Bangkok

Hello! I am looking for a private tour guide in Bangkok for our family of 5, ideally for the 3 days we are there. Much of what I am finding is either one-off tours, or part of a larger package. I would like to stick with the same guide as it's always fun getting to know someone and the more my kids feel comfortable, the more questions they ask. I do realize we can do on our own, but we tend to learn more and get more out of having a local by our side. I am simply looking for someone to help with transport from airport, 2-3 tours (city safari, food tour, etc). as well as transportation to Khoa Yai. Even better if that same person offers tours in Khoa Yai, but realize that's a stretch. Any recommendations, or am I better off booking these as one-offs?

It’s been years but we used Tong, who was wonderful. Tong herself was our guide but she may use other guides now as well. You can contact her and ask questions. https://www.tourwithtong.com/

I've also heard great things about Tong. Never did get to meet her.
I did meet Raviv who works with Touristhailand and his company arranged me and my kids an amazing 11 days.
We've seen beautiful-amazing non-touristic places

Tong was busy when we wanted to tour but arranged for another guide to show us Bangkok.

We enjoyed our tours with Tong, but that was 15 years ago. This past January, we took a private tour to Ayutthaya with BKK Tours, which we also enjoyed very much. Our guide, Petch, was personable, informative and response to our interests. You can check other reviews on TripAdvisor - there are many.

For tours of Khao Yai see https://www.thainationalparks.com/kh...-national-park. you really need a specialist guide to make the most of it. It was a few years ago now but we visited by rental car and whilst the scenery was ok, the wildlife viewing was disappointing. Depending upon how long you are planning in Thailand and where else you are going it would not be my first choice.

Tranfers from BKK airport are quick and cheap by taxi. As for tours of the city, markets and temples etc, easy to do by your self with a little research, but if you need a dedicated guide for the duration you best bet would be to ask your hotel. You can be sure they will take a cut but they do have a vested interest in ensuring you have good experience.

I know it's very late- but we are just planning for Jan 2024, booked flight tickets and now need to fill in some of the gaps. Fodors always a good place to get information.
For a guide around Bangkok- we have hired Wandee of Wandeetours a number of times- most recently late 2022.
I agree having a local with you is a good way to learn more. Over the years we have had some amazing tours with Wandee and do feel we have learned much and she is such good company to be with.
Very reliable and IMO fairly priced [email protected].
Hope that you all have or have had a great time in that beautiful and fascinating country.

hello, I hope you have a great time there, such a great city and culture.
actually when and wherever I travel, I use this app FindGuide to find the guide i need, i can can communicate with them and arrange my plan before i even get to the place.
I highly recommend it to you, it will save you a lot of time, and will make every minute at your destination counts.
