Urgent Visa question - change study from France to Switzerland

Hi all,

I would appreciate any advice...
My daughter is Australian and started a boarding school in France Sept 2020. The situation was a nightmare and I pulled her out of the school in Oct and she has since been homeschooling while applying for schools. She applied and got into a school in Switzerland in the Vaud Canton. They have said she may start next week if she can get a visa.
- What do I need to do and how do I get a visa super fast?
- Can I modify her French minor study visa to Swiss? and how?
- Also, we are obviously not in Australia, how do we apply for the visa/permit from Europe?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

France has no control over to whom Switzerland accords visas.

Visit the nearest Swiss consulate and ask.

One country can't modify (or accept) another country's visas, France and Switzerland operate independently. Fra Diavolo is right, you go to the Swiss consulate where you are living and apply for a visa through them. It is up to the consulate to tell you how quickly they can arrange a visa.
