After reviewing the activites offered by BDC, I'm assuming they don't offer a waterfall rappeling trip. I was wondering if anyone has ever used the one offered by El Remanso or has any suugestions or comments on any others in the area. Thanks

BdC has a more extensive list that what is on their website. They do offer water rapelling. I'm cuting and pasting the following from their activities list:

Waterfall Rappelling
This is a great tour for the adventurous and active person! Are you ready for the adventure of your life? After completing a brief instruction course teaching you the mechanics of rope descent you will first rappel over a 40’ waterfall; you will then move on to the impressive 100’ King Louie Waterfall. This is an excellent tour that you will remember for a lifetime. Subject to varying levels of water flow throughout the year; very active tour; ages 10+; wear sneakers or Tevas or water shoes; 2-3 hours
$75/person

Just got back from BDC. I talked to one couple that did the rappeling tour and loved it. However, in a few weeks, the waterfall may be pretty dry.

could you e-mail us a copy of the BdC activites also? Sounds like there's far more to do at BdC than hiking. This can really help us organize and NOT duplicate activities.

Believe it or not, we didn't do any paid activities while at BDC for 6 nights. Philip, (one of two guides) was on vacation so some activities were limited. So, we just went out on our own from early morning to after dinner. We don't feel that we missed out on anything by not doing offsite activities. However, if you want to do offsite activities, go for it since all people we talked to loved the ones they did. Keep in mind that most involve the 45 minute extremely rough road journey to Puerto Jimenez. Once you do it once, you may reconsider doing it again.
