Transportation from Los Cabos Airport to La Paz

What is the safest and easiest way to get from Los Cabos International Airport to La Paz. I'm not going to attempt to drive...and I'm not particularly adventurous. Any recommendations appreciated.

Take a taxi to Autobus Centro in San Jose del Cabo. Then take the bus to La Paz. It's a snap.

If we were to rent a car, how is the drive from Los Cabos to La Paz? Is it safe, good roads? How long of a drive? Thanks!

Very decent roads. Do a circle going through Todas Santos up & the East Cape coming back. Go to www.guiaroji.com.mx for excellent road maps.

"If we were to rent a car, how is the drive from Los Cabos to La Paz? Is it safe, good roads?"

Narrow road, winding in places but not much traffic since most of the big trucks and heavy tourist traffic go down the Pacific side thru Todos Santos to Cabo. Just take it easy and enjoy the view, especially around East Cape and the passes, and you'll have no problems. I wouldn't want to drive it at night for various reasons.

"How long of a drive?"

Seems like less than an hour to East Cape, then maybe another 90 minutes to La Paz from East Cape, maybe I'm off by half an hour or so but figure 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

Why not just fly into the La Paz airport instead of the Los Cabos airport if La Paz is your destination?

Thanks everyone. Didn't mean to hijack your thread, huntmill, but maybe this will help us both?!

We're in very prelim planning stage of a March visit next year. Los Cabos with friends at their condo then thinking a trip to La Paz to explore, and a Sea of Cortez eco cruise!

Suze, yes a La Pax hotel reco would be appreciated!

Club El Moro seems to be booked for the two different week in which we're interested (this is thru Expedia). Guess I need to contact them directly? Any suggestions?

I always deal with hotels directly myself. El Moro is very well run. I'd just give them a call, fax, or use the hotel's own website.
