Some of the best sunsets that I have seen have been from the parks along Libertador in Recoleta..especially if it has been cloudy and the clouds turn colors with the sunset...the skies here are typically an amazing blue..sunsets are pretty good from wherever you get to see them.
I got some fantastic photos of a sunset from our hotel terrace last year ..

Thank you Scarlett. We actually are staying in Recoleta at this time. Do you mean the park in the area of the "Flower"? Which hotel were you at when you got your photos? Thank you.

Hi
We stayed in the ArtSuites on Azcuenega .. lovely little ApartHotel.
Not even as far as the flower..
Find the British Embassy, there is a great staircase going down to the park and then Libertador runs past ..
You can sit at the top by the huge fantastic equestrian statue of Bartolome Mitre and look out over Libertador and beyond.

*Thank you Virtual Tourist for the photo*
From up there, you can see lots of sky.
Go to Puerto Madero for evening drinks along the waterfront at one of the many nice restaurants..sit and appreciate the view of the city, lighting up as the sun sets and look in the right direction and watch the sun set too ~
