Purto Vallarta in November?

We are going to the Nuevo Vallarta Nov. 30th thru Dec. 14th. How is the weather then and what are the sites we do not want to miss?

The weather will be beautiful in the low 80's most likely. Depends on what kind of activities you like... Certainly you can find parasailing, snorkeling, boat cruises, jungle tours, shopping, Chicos Paradise, pirate ship around the bay, restaurants of every description, etc. There is a Tourist Bureau office just off the main plaza in the corner of the government building near the main Church and the Malecon in El Centro.

You will be there during the Festival of the Virgin of Guadalupe (i'm guessing around 4th - 10th but not sure exactly for this year). For one week people from PV and many surrounding areas parade thru the streets every night with marching bands, singing, homemade floats, mariachi, dancing groups, kids in costumes, etc. in honor of and to thank the Virgin for blessing received during the past year. It is amazing. Two different parade routes start from north El Centro and south in Old Town and end at the Cathedral. Many tourists do not seem to know about this.
Hola Jerri,
Yes, the weather is just great! You will not miss the processions in December, as the town and its transit authorities provide all the facilities for these events, usually in the evening
Dec. 12th is considered the birth of the Virgen of Guadalupe and so this will be the last and most festive. Be at
the Malecon! Maria.

Thank you all so much! This will be a wonderful trip for my children and I. (26,18 & 13) We are taking a "real" vacation together after 20 years of no vacationing at all. I am so excited!
