Puerto Vallarta Dreaming

I'm looking to rent a condo for a couple weeks next December and February and wonder if anyone has any tips. It will be for my husband and I and possibly our daughters who are in their mid twenties. We want to be in Zona romantico, near a beach with a swimming pool.
Any recommendations?

We spent the month of October in Puerto Vallarta. Rented a one bedroom condo at Selva Romantica. Beautiful place, but, lots of stairs, and no elevators. The pool is gorgeous. Only a few blocks, but, straight up a hill, from the beach. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Go to www.vallarta-getaways.com and look under the Unique Old Town Rentals tab. I've rented thru them my last 3 trips and they are fabulous to work with and have lots of nice properties (including Selva Romantica as mentioned above).

Me and my husband travel to Puerto Vallarta 6 years in a row. The first time we stayed at the Tropicana Hotel in the Romantic Zone. On our second time we traveled first to Sayulita for a week 3 weeks we rented a nice apartment "Vallarta Shores Penthouse" at Los Muertos Beach. Ever since we booked through http://www.villaexperiencemexico.com/, they are a team of young entrepreneurs, I meet them on the Puerto Vallarta Malecon, meanwile they were shooting a video of the Charro Festival in Puerto Vallarta. Specially in the low season they are able to offer you great deals, much lower than the rates advertised.

stanhope i have a close friend who owns a beautiful condo in PV, in Conchas Chinas Area. Very close to the Malecon. I've stayed there and it is a lovely place. Here is a link where you can see pictures of the property, however if this is something like what you are looking for, let me know so i can help you get a better price than the broker's have available!

Sweet looking condo (but Conchas Chinas neighborhood isn't exactly "very close to the Malecon")
