Morelia for 3 days

I will be in Morelia for 3 days. Any recommendations for restaurants and day trips?

Lots to see in and around Morelia. You could do a day trip to Patzcuaro, there are also towns like Santa Clara (known for copper). We really enjoyed the area. It was a few years ago, so can't help you with restaurant recommendations.

I spent Easter week '07 in Morelia with no problem filling it. A trip to Patzcuaro is a must. The Zoo, Museums, Aqueduct structure, theater, parks, restaurants, Plaza(S), El Central, the fabulous architecture all are worth your time.
Depending on time of year the Butterfly preserves are wonderful.
Three days is minimal.

I agree with Patzcuaro being a must, it is my preferred place to stay with a day trip to Morelia.
