Mazatlan has many things to do there. Such as the aquarium, fiestas like the one at Playa Mazatlan Hotel,Maz Agua water park, the cathedral this is their centennial year I beleive. Downtown mercado you will be able to find almost anything to buy there. I hear there is an old fashioned schooner that you can out on for the day and in the evenings. Also fishing is great fun, according to my husband anyways. The Sheik restraunt has great atmosphere and the food is usually good to great. Service is impeccable. The sunsets are fab. Sun,beaches, great restraunts, hotels and wonderful people. Who could ask for more. We are going in June for our 6th time. Can't wait.

Mazatlan is a big city and there is lots to see there. The lighthouse (tallest in the world), colonial district, opera house (just restored, is a must see and check for entertainment), mercado, Golden Zone for shopping. A great trip for the day is to Copala, with stops in Concordia to see tiles made, the bakery and experience a small town. I enjoyed Mazatlan but love Cabo San Lucas. Feel free to e-mail for more information.
