HELP! WHERE TO STAY IN COZ???

HELP!! We are looking for a hotel in Cozumel that is clean, with limited services. On a nice beach would be nice. Any suggestions???? We were thinking of the Fontan, Playa Azul, Villa Blanca??
Any help would be appreciated.

Cozumel is a great place to visit, however we would not recommend staying at VillaBlanca. We stayed there a short while ago and were not very satisfied. The deluxe and superior rooms are quite beautiful. But we were unhappy as we found some of their clerical and management staff not very trustworthy as they denied that we had sent them any money orders even though we had the receipt to prove to them that we had. We kept our money and documents in there so called deposit box (which is a large transparent envelope kept in their safe to which the staff had access to) we found some of our money missing and our documents had been gone through. It is a very fustrating experience when you are trying to enjoy a wonderful vacation spot and at the same time not be able to feel secure with your hotel.
