Best Way to Book a Car in Costa Rica?
Traveling to Costa Rica in March, what is a good car rental company and what is the best way to book from the US? I would like to see the contract and entire cost including all the insurance(s) as well as any holds on the credit card prior to final booking.

We have used National Car Rental twice, and their website has all the info you are asking for. If you use a credit card, and it covers your insurance, you can decline the CDW and just go with SLC. Their vehicles are top notch. They do put a hold on your credit card while you have the car.

We've used Tricolor http://www.tricolorcarrental.com/ 4 times (will be our 5th time next week), always a good experience.

I always use Dollar Rent a Car, try to contact Diego [email protected]. He always provides quotes with insurance and taxes, no hidden fees, very good english!!!
