Which was that Italian village in a few episodes of 'Everybody Loves Raymond'?

Hi there,

I remember last year, 'Everybody Loves Raymond' filmed a few episodes in Italy, set in a lovely village by the seaside. It was the village that Robert's Italian girlfriend came from - her dad used to run a small pizzeria...Anyone know where this was?

We are planning to spend a few days in coastal Tuscany - in the Maremma hills area, in July and wondering if this is the same area?

Thanks
Deepa

Hi Deepa,
I got this from one of the Raymond web sites.

Where was the Italy episode filmed?

Anguillara, a small fisherman's village on Lake Bracciano, about 45 minutes drive NW from Rome.

those episodes are the reason why I went to Italy. I had been thinking of going to Scotland and watched those 2 shows and it looked so nice and warm that I changed my plans and went to Italy instead. Thank you Ray Romano!
