Where is the Santa Lucia Train Station - Venice?
We are taking a train from Trenitalia.com from Florence to Venice, then riding a ferry line 2 to the Rialto stop where our hotel is. My question: "Is our arrival station in Venice the same as the Santa Lucia Train Station?" If not, how do we get to the Santa Lucia Train Station? Thanks in advance.

SL = Santa Lucia. That's the MAIN train station in Venice, and that's the one you need to arrive at, as kybourbon said. The other "Venice" train station is called Venic Mestre, and that is NOT the central main station where you catch the vapretto (it's a water bus, not a ferry) to Rialto.

There are two stations "associated" with Venice. Coming from Florence, the train first stops at Mestre on the land side. You stay on the train. After Mestre, the train travels on a causeway connecting to Venice. The end-of-the-line station is Venezia Santa Lucia.
There is no way you can miss the stop. The train can go no further forwards.

Go to http://www.bing.com/maps/. Type Venezia Santa Lucia in the white url window next to the word bing. Click on the magnifying glass "Find" icon. "Road" view is default. Go to Aerial, click on Aerial and you'll see the Satellite view of how the train station fits nicely near the entrance to the Grand Canal. Go back to Aerial. Click Bird's Eye and you'll see the station building that you will exit upon arrival. You'll bear left as you walk down toward the water. You'll see the Ponte Scalzi, the first large bridge on your left. The vaporetto dock is just before the bridge, clearly seen in the Bird's Eye View of the train station on Bing.
