What's the cheapest way to call Europe from the US?

I don't have skype.
I'm trying to figure out voip.
I need to call Greece, but onesuite doesn't do greece.

Any tips or suggestions on how to get a voip call to greece?

What should I do? I may be on the phone for 30 minutes or so?

I really appreciate it.

thanks!!
dina

I signed up for skype. It was easy. I put $ in and the first lengthy call cost nothing as the hotel was also on skype. Highly recommended.

I use 10 10 987 to call Europe.

When in Europe - I use inexpensive calling cards to phone the States. Usually runs between 3¢ and 7¢ a minute

I'm not sure about Greece, but a calling card from Walgreen's works great for calling Germany for about 6-7 cents per minute.

correction on my post...it is just 10 10 987. I've used it for faxes, but my husband uses it regularly to call me. He hasn't fully developed his brain for the computer yet. So no Skype for him. He still can't receive or send emails, but he has learned to buy motorcycle parts online. So that's tells me he can figure it out if he wants to.

I use www.voipcheap.com here in the U S , you can pay in $ you pay a connection charge 5 euro cents approx 8 cents here, for that you can talk for hours on your home phone or cell. when I travel I use my P C & use voip or Skype PC to PC free.

Ok, thanks SO much.
It looks like 10 10 987 might be easiest for an occasional call. I will try that today.

I assume you have to use a landline to make the call, not a mobile?

Thanks again.

You can call Greece with Onesuite and it is 5c per minute for landlines and 19c for mobile phones.

Here is the link for their rates page
